This event is generally held the second weekend in June and is a fundraiser for the Crosslake-Ideal Lions Club.
The contest has around 100 fishing teams who participate, making for some fun spectating while the teams return to base to weigh-in their catches for the chance to win prize money, a trophy, and bragging rights.
